P-542 The Basic School Fire Station

This project included a new single-story, 24,800-square-foot fire station that replaced the station supporting the west side of Quantico. The facility includes crew residential areas, offices, apparatus bays, and support spaces such as lockers, laundry, a fitness room, training, and conference rooms. The facility’s Dispatch Room serves as a “back up” for the entire installation and can support police, fire, and ESS/IDS personnel. The project also includes upgraded signalized intersection improvements to the primary roadways MCB-1 and MCB-2 serving most of the western campus.

LDG served as the Engineer of Record on this design-build project and provided landscape architecture, civil, transportation, structural, mechanical, electrical, and plumbing engineering services.
