LDG provided design and construction services for the Lycoming County Bridge 110.
Larson Design Group provided design and construction services for a 131.5′ long, two-span prestressed concrete adjacent box beam bridge. The new bridge replaced a one-lane, structurally-deficient steel truss bridge to provide a safe crossing for the public.
The bridge was lengthened approximately 20′ to provide a larger hydraulic opening to improve overtopping and flooding at the site. The new substructures are supported on piles, and rock protection was designed to alleviate scour concerns. PennDOT Type 10M bridge barrier was utilized to reduce deadload on the structure and provide an open railing so the travelling public could view Muncy Creek while crossing.
