Civil Engineering

Civil engineering in support of retail clients is one of the many in-house capabilities LDG can offer its retail clients. Our expertise ranges from coordinating an expedited permit process with the agencies and authorities having local jurisdiction, to maximizing the site’s space allocation to safely accommodate as many vehicles as possible. LDG’s expert staff have spent their entire careers honing the skills needed to successfully navigate every step of the civil engineering process.

M/E/P Engineering

Our engineers take an exceptionally thoughtful approach to evaluating the many options available and helping clients choose the solution to optimize their systems for use. We ensure that systems are simple, functional, and engineered for the correct applications in the context of the project. Our experience working on multiple building types in various market sectors allows us to apply diverse knowledge and techniques to deliver efficient and effective system solutions that consider up-front, operating, and maintenance costs. Our staff includes LEED® accredited master planners, architects, M/E/P engineers, as well as structural and geotechnical engineers; all of whom collaborate alongside in-house landscape architects and environmental specialists with proven experience achieving the highest levels of LEED® certification.

Structural Engineering

LDG’s structural engineers understand the specialized engineering that supports energy initiatives and work toward an optimal balance between technical function and economic impact. We review and consider all of a project’s structural requirements as well as the project requirements for the other engineering disciplines and use that input to develop our structural engineering approach. Whether designing collector buildings, structural foundations for wind turbines, or supporting solar panel installations LDG has the expertise to support the design of new structures as well as the rehabilitation and analysis of existing structures.

Permitting multiple projects simultaneously in numerous jurisdictions for a nationwide program rollout can be a daunting task.
