Fort Walker Army Reserve Center

The new Army Reserve Center (ARC) includes a 22,170-square-foot facility to accommodate 197 members, and an additional 7,526-square-foot organizational maintenance storage (OMS) facility. The ARC included an assembly hall, a full serving kitchen, administrative and classroom spaces, a weapons simulator room, shower, locker room, and SIPRNet. The OMS includes four repair and two maintenance bays; tool, part, and flammable storage; and administrative offices. The new ARC significantly improves readiness and mobilization and increases the proficiency of the service members. The ARC earned a LEED® Gold certification and the OMS obtained a LEED® Silver certification.
