The new facility will significantly improve the readiness and mobilization as well as increasing the proficiency of the service members. The unit(s) required in this project are part of the Army’s Combat Service Support (CSS) Reset Initiative to support additional Brigade Combat Teams (BCT”s) currently activating within the Army Component. The Army Reserve is activating new units currently not in inventory to support the CSS reset. There will be approximately 197 reservists that will work and train in this facility. The complex consists of a Training Center, Organizational Maintenance Shop, and Unheated Storage Building. The Training Center achieved LEED Gold certification.
