Honeysuckle Apartments Bloomsburg University

LDG Served as the site engineer for the new Honeysuckle apartments, a 408-student apartment complex in the town of Bloomsburg, PA.

This challenging site was developed by the National Development Company of Pennsylvania for the Community Government Association of Bloomsburg University. LDG staff met on a biweekly basis with the client, developer, project architect, and members of the facility management staff throughout the design phase. The design called for the disturbance of a 0.10-arce wetland area, therefore wetland delineation and Joint Permit application had to be prepared. This location also required a design and approval for the relocation of sanitary sewer main, a 1,450 foot reinforced concrete retaining wall and extensive stormwater analysis with on-site and off-site collection and conveyance facilities.

LDG assisted with preparation of land development plans for review and approval by the Town of Bloomsburg and the Columbia County Planning Commission.

The project had a time line that required all permits and approvals be received within a three month period.
