The design of this new high school was heavily influenced by the hilly site. The building is two-story to minimize the footprint, and is perched on a knoll. Natural daylight is emphasized throughout. Overhangs and shading devices are used at all glass locations to reduce glare and save energy. The interior focal point is a soaring, two-story commons area near the front entry. The adjacent media center is on full display through a glass wall. The predominant building materials are brick, stone, glass and stained concrete in natural colors.
