North Classroom Building

Oklahoma State University

The North Classroom Building is intended to be about teaching in a highly collaborative, technology rich, interactive learning environment. The building is 50,000 SF with three floors of academic spaces. The design includes a student success center, café, classrooms, and two – 125 seat auditoriums. A major organizing element of the building is the two-story circulation that visually connects the levels and allows daylight to penetrate all areas of the building. The second and third levels include 36 and 48-seat classroom spaces, as well as informal learning spaces. The architectural character of the building is designed to complement the Modified-Georgian context on the campus. The project was completed in association with DLR Group.
