Chickasha High School Athletic Field Renovation

LDG provided architecture, structural engineering, and M/E/P services for an extensive renovation of the athletic field and football stadium at Chickasha High School, ensuring that the nearly 75-year-old facility will continue to serve student athletes of the district for years to come.

The scope of the project rehabilitated the concrete stadium built in 1949 by removing cracked and unsound concrete and installing repair concrete in its place; installing artificial turf on the playing field; cleaning, prepping, and repainting the water tower and the entire stadium; and installing fencing and site paving. Hand and guard rails were sandblasted clean of existing, years-old paint, prepped, and repainted. Two coats of traffic surface coating were applied to walking surfaces while concrete and accent paint were applied to others.
