Cameron University Library Addition

Cameron University

The Cameron Library Addition completes the original building from 1962 and 1981 expansion to fulfill the University’s vision. The new addition continues the collegiate aesthetic established in recent campus projects and creates a new brand for the library. The addition is an infill of glass providing a transparent space that draws students to the space and energizes the transition from entry to the library resource areas. The two-story atrium space is a “living room,” a social connector that fosters a sense of community and promotes student interaction and collaboration. The coffee shop/bistro is at the center of this active space that is technology rich and connected.
