LDG was a member of the team for the CCSD Wastewater Treatment Plant Consolidation Program. The consolidation project scope includes design, permitting, and construction phase services for all work taking place at each existing treatment plant site. LDG’s role includes design and construction administration for the new Lake Street Influent Facility and the decommissioning of the Lake Street WWTP, SEQR and project permitting, a long-term control plan update, supporting project funding efforts, and providing construction inspection management services.
LDG is also providing permitting and 3rd party review for the consolidated treatment facility, which consists of a screw pump lift station, headworks, equalization basin, primary and secondary clarification, trickling filters, a moving bed biofilm reactor, chemical phosphorous removal, UV disinfection, anaerobic digestion, recuperative thickening, and sludge dewatering. Permitting efforts include a SEQR amendment, local floodplain permitting, stormwater pollution prevention plans, and property easements for construction access.
