Will Rogers Air National Guard Base Area Development Plan and Temporary Aircraft Simulator Facility PCR

LDG provided planning and design services to support several key projects that will guide the future development of Will Rogers Air National Guard Base (WRANGB) as it transitions to a new flying mission. The work emphasized mission-sensitive design, efficient circulation, and long-term adaptability to support the cyclical influx of Air National Guard airmen.

Key Highlights:

• Area Development Plan (ADP) to capture near- and long-term needs for new mission aircraft
• Stakeholder collaboration through a planning charrette, site analysis, and Courses of Action (COAs)
• Regulating, phasing, and illustrative plans supported by cost estimates and conceptual floor plans
• Development of DD Form 1391s for mission-critical facilities including a Formal Training Unit, Permanent Simulator, Munitions Storage Area, and related support facilities

The ADP and supporting reports create a clear and executable vision for WRANGB – integrating infrastructure, training, and operational needs into a comprehensive, future-focused plan that positions the base for successful mission readiness.
