Snap-On Tools Truck Entrance & Parking Lot

LDG was engaged by Snap-on Tools to explore options for improving pedestrian, vehicle, and truck circulation at their Robesonia, PA distribution center. Safety was their biggest concern, as their existing facility required tractor trailer deliver trucks to pass through employee parking lots to enter the building’s loading docks. In response, LDG suggested and designed a new truck access route from a neighboring street. At the same time, additional employee parking and pathways were designed.

The new construction required updates and improvements to stormwater management facilities, security improvements including automated gates, updated site lighting, permitting with local and county authorities, and construction administration with the selected general contractor.
