Williamsport STEP Transportation Facility

Larson Design Group (LDG) provided architecture and engineering design services for the Williamsport STEP Transportation Facility in Lycoming County, Pennsylvania. The project was completed through LDG’s open-end contract with the Pennsylvania Department of Transportation’s Bureau of Transit to support transportation and transit agency projects throughout the Commonwealth.

The facility includes an administrative facility, vehicle storage buildings, and a vehicle wash building. LDG’s planning services included facility programming, needs assessment, schematic design, and concept development to align the facility with the agency’s operational needs.

LDG’s multidisciplinary scope included site civil planning and design, architectural design, and mechanical and electrical engineering. Additional services included survey, geotechnical investigation, utility coordination, and permitting to support site development and facility design.
