Mr. Bruder is responsible for the development and implementation of all safety programs for LDG operations, including client programs in which LDG provides services. He focuses on providing management support, equipment, training and efforts to maintain health and safety and to prevent accidents and illness for LDG employees, clients and the public. He has extensive “client-side” experience, having had broad environmental and industrial safety and hygiene management experience for a variety of energy companies, environmental services consultants and industrial manufacturing plants. He has built safety programs and cultures in companies that previously had no health, safety and environment (HSE) programs as well as monitored programming across multiple offices and business lines.

Mr. Bruder deploys his knowledge in both the office and the field, designing safety protocols to reduce the possibility of injuries, teaching best practices, investigating incidents, inspecting and auditing worksites, and documenting results.  He has an extensive background in managing worker’s compensation cases and is fully trained to ensure in compliance to comply with OSHA, EPA, state, and corporate requirements.  His training programs’ performance tracking and reporting include:  OSHA’s Hazardous Waste and Emergency Response standard (HAZWOPER); confined space entry; respiratory protection; job hazard and personal protective equipment (PPE) assessments; fall protection; ergonomic improvements; and job safety analysis (JSA) reviews.  He oversees Erosion and Sediment (E&S ) controls and issues, inspection containment controls, safety protocol compliance, incident reports including root cause analysis, and first responder actions for injuries and emergency response for spills.  His training also includes Department of Transportation (DOT)-certified drug testing / E-Screen Network and UNICULTURAL diversity training.
