Federal Architecture & Engineering Operations Manager & Vice President

For more than three decades, Rick has helmed projects in the Federal market from proposal to completion, steering them through all aspects of the process with a steady and experienced hand.

Rick has more than 30 years of project management experience and has designed and managed more than 100 projects in various USACE districts with total construction costs valued at over $750 million. Before its acquisition by LDG, Rick was Sr. Vice President for Federal at LWPB, a leading provider of architectural and interior design services for education, Federal, and healthcare clients across the country.

Rick possesses advanced knowledge of program management and its integration to balance project performance, budget, schedule, risk, quality, and stakeholder management. He has served as the Program Manager for Indefinite Delivery Contracts (IDC) with the USACE, National Guard, and Federal Aviation Administration (FAA). His specialized experience includes designs for barracks, hangars, supply-storage warehouses, battalion and brigade headquarters buildings, access control points, soldier family assistance centers, company operations facilities, and dormitories. He has also served as Architect-of-Record on numerous multidisciplined projects.

Rick received a Bachelor of Architecture degree from Oklahoma State University and is a Registered Architect in Oklahoma, Washington, and South Carolina. He is also registered as an Interior Designer in Oklahoma and is certified by the Design-Build Institute of America (DBIA) and the National Council of Architecture Registration Boards (NCARB).

Outside of work, Rick enjoys skiing, wakeboarding, and weight training. On the weekends he enjoys watching his family participate in rodeo sports.
