Ron Schirato, PE, LEED AP, CQM-C

Federal Operations Manager & Senior Vice President

With more than 25 years of experience, Ron brings extensive expertise in managing complex horizontal and vertical construction projects for Federal, commercial, industrial, and educational clients.

A civil engineer by training, he has served in a variety of leadership roles, including project manager for full-service Federal A/E projects and market lead for national Department of Defense design-build programs.

Throughout his career, Ron has successfully delivered projects for numerous Federal agencies, including the Naval Facilities Engineering Command, U.S. Air Force, U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, and Department of Energy. He leverages deep knowledge of both design-bid-build and design-build delivery methods, along with longstanding Federal market relationships, to lead and support LDG’s Federal operations. His experience spans project management, operations leadership, and civil engineering roles within both small and large engineering consulting firms.

Ron earned a Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering Technology from the University of Pittsburgh and a Master’s Certificate in Project Management from the university’s Katz Graduate School of Business. He is a registered Professional Engineer in Pennsylvania and North Carolina, a LEED Accredited Professional, and holds the Construction Quality Management for Contractors (CQM-C) certification from the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers. Ron is also an active member of several posts within the Society of American Military Engineers, including Baltimore, Kentuckiana, Oklahoma City, Philadelphia, and Tulsa.
