Federal Operations Manager & Senior Vice President

Backed by two decades of experience and a passion for planning and development, Ron leads LDG’s growth in the Federal market space.

A civil engineer by education, Ron draws on more than 20 years of experience in a broad range of projects, including engineering for site development for Federal, commercial, industrial, and education clients. He has served in multiple roles, including as project manager for full-service Federal A&E projects and as market lead for national Department of Defense design-build projects. 

Throughout his career, he has successfully delivered a variety of projects for Federal clients such as the Naval Facilities Engineering Command, the U.S. Air Force, the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, and the National Guard, among many others. He utilizes his Federal market relationships and knowledge of both design-bid-build and design-build delivery methods to develop and lead LDG’s Federal operations, drawing on his experience as a civil engineer, project manager, and operations manager for both small and large engineering consulting firms. 

Ron earned his Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering Technology from the University of Pittsburgh and a Master’s Certificate in Project Management from the University of Pittsburgh’s Katz Graduate School of Business. He is registered as a Professional Engineer in Pennsylvania and North Carolina, and he is also a LEED Accredited Professional and holds the Construction Quality Management for Contractors (CQM-C) certification from the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers. His professional affiliations include memberships in several posts of the Society of American Military Engineers including Baltimore, Kentuckiana, Oklahoma City, Philadelphia, and Tulsa.
