As a member of the Operations Leadership Team, Dave is based out of our Wexford office, where he leads our Infrastructure Group and is responsible for overall performance of the group, ensuring that goals for sales, profitability and sustainable growth are met.

Dave brings a 20-year track record of client growth and operational excellence in Planning and Engineering Consulting to LDG, including a wealth of knowledge in public policy, resource management, comprehensive and environmental planning, and military master planning and programming.

Dave comes to LDG most recently from Michael Baker International, where he served as Pittsburgh Transportation Practice Executive and was responsible for Transportation Practice business strategy, client development, staff development and operational oversight for several of the firm’s departments, including highway, traffic, rail and transit engineering; connected and autonomous vehicle; and bridge design. Dave also recently served as Michael Baker’s Northern California Office Executive/Area Executive, a position in which he oversaw the management, personnel and business activities for eight office locations including Architecture, Bridge, Environmental, Geospatial, Planning, Surface Water, Transportation and Water/Wastewater departments.

For the majority of his career, Dave served as a Planning Practice Executive, Program Manager and Planner. During that time, he has managed numerous complex military planning projects, directed project teams providing high-value deliverables with ultimate accountability to multiple stakeholders worldwide. He has been involved in a leadership role on Indefinite Quantity/Indefinite Delivery contracts including significant support of US Army Installation Management Command’s (IMCOM) real property planning program. Dave’s diversified client base includes planning efforts for Air Force Civil Engineering Center, Global Strike Command, Customs and Border Protection, and US Army Installation Management Command while also building a local planning client base.

Dave holds a bachelor’s degree in chemistry with environmental sciences from the University of Notre Dame; a master’s degree in resource management from Antioch New England Graduate School and in public policy and management from Carnegie Mellon University; and a master’s certificate in project management from the University of Pittsburgh Katz Graduate School of Business. He was a Peace Corps Volunteer and participated in Leadership Development Initiative XV at Leadership Pittsburgh.
