With more than three decades of insights in multiple information technology disciplines and software development, Scott and his team are continually developing innovative platforms and solutions to support LDG’s growth. The challenges range from handling Big Data communications between 10 offices, to adopting new technologies to accommodate ever-changing client requirements, and to stretching a team of talented professionals to new levels of achievement.
Since joining the firm in 2017, Scott and his team have been building the technical foundation for an aggressively forward-looking enterprise, including mobile-enabling management systems for a geographically dispersed team of C-level executives. Using a mix of both traditional and cutting-edge technologies, such as software-defined wide-area networking (SD-WAN), Scott is leading the company through a digital transformation to create a highly agile, mobile enterprise that provides an outstanding delivery experience for LDG clients. He and his team lead with cloud and mobile-first strategies so that employees may work from anywhere and collaborate with clients at any time. Among the ongoing challenges is managing the enormous growth of data generated by 3D scanning tools and Internet of Things (IoT) devices.
Prior to coming to LDG, the majority of Scott’s career was spent in two corporate environments. He spent a decade with a large established firm in the financial industry with enterprise-level IT, after which he helped found an IT infrastructure consulting and hosting firm which grew over two decades to 150 employees and $40 million in revenue.
