With more than 47 years of experience in consulting engineering and architecture business, Raj brings a strong, varied knowledge base to his role as a member of the Board of Directors.
Raj has served as Chairman of the Board of Directors of Mead & Hunt, Inc. since 1994, and also was CEO of the firm from 1994 to 2018. He joined Mead & Hunt in 1977 and in his time serving as CEO, the company’s revenue grew from $10 million in 1994 to over $155 million in 2019.
Raj also serves on the board of directors of both Moffatt and Nichol and V3 Companies. He also serves as an advisory director on the board of HFA, an architecture company headquartered in Arkansas.
He currently serves as one of the seven trustees for the American Council of Engineering Companies (ACEC) Retirement Trust, which manages assets in excess of $2 billion. He is also serving on the Board of Trustees for the College of Engineering at the University of Virginia and on the Dean’s Industrial Advisory Board for the College of Engineering at the University of Wisconsin–Madison.
Raj has Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering from The Maharaja Sayajirao University of Baroda, India, and a Master’s Degree in Civil Engineering from the University of Wisconsin–Madison. He is a licensed Professional Engineer in Wisconsin and Michigan and a licensed Structural Engineer in Illinois.
