With more than 47 years of experience in consulting engineering and architecture business, Rajan Sheth brings a strong, varied knowledge base to his role as a member of the Board of Directors of Larson Design Group (LDG).
Raj has served as Chairman of the Board of Directors of Mead & Hunt, Inc. since 1994, and also was CEO of the firm from 1994 to 2018. He joined Mead & Hunt in 1977 and in his time serving as CEO, the company’s revenue grew from $10 million in 1994 to over $155 million in 2019.
Raj also serves as a fiduciary member on the board of directors of Moffatt and Nichol, an international engineering company headquartered in California, and V3 Companies, an engineering company headquartered in Illinois. He also serves as an advisory director on the board of HFA, an architecture company headquartered in Arkansas, He has facilitated several Employee Ownership, Strategic Planning, and Organization Restructuring sessions for HFA.
He currently serves as one of the seven trustees for the American Council of Engineering Companies (ACEC) Retirement Trust, which manages assets in excess of $2 billion. He is also serving on the Board of Trustees for the College of Engineering at the University of Virginia and on the Dean’s Industrial Advisory Board for the College of Engineering at the University of Wisconsin–Madison.
In the past, Raj also has served in leadership positions in various professional associations such as the American Society of Civil Engineers and the American Council of Engineering Companies. He also served for several years on the Board of Directors of Wisconsin Manufacturer and Commerce (Wisconsin’s Chamber of Commerce). He has also served in leadership positions in several community and charitable organizations.
Raj has Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering from The Maharaja Sayajirao University of Baroda, India, and Master’s Degree in Civil Engineering from the University of Wisconsin–Madison. He is a licensed Professional Engineer in Wisconsin and Michigan and a licensed Structural Engineer in Illinois.
