Oklahoma City, OK – On February 19, 2026, Larson Design Group (LDG) along with leaders, service members, partners, and community stakeholders gathered at the Oklahoma City Military Complex to celebrate the official opening of the Oklahoma National Guard Wellness Center, a state-of-the-art facility designed to support the holistic health and readiness of Oklahoma National Guard personnel.
Martin Martinez of LDG spoke at the ribbon-cutting, highlighting the teamwork and dedication that brought the Wellness Center to life. He recognized the collaboration with the Oklahoma Military Department, the U.S. Army, construction partner Flintco, design partner AE1, and LDG team members whose contributions were essential to the project’s success.
“This moment represents far more than the completion of a building, it reflects a shared commitment to purpose, resilience, and the wellbeing of those who will walk through these doors for years to come,” said Martin Martinez, Program Manager.
Martinez emphasized that the facility reflects more than a building, it embodies purpose, resilience, and holistic wellbeing. He shared that intentional design elements, from natural light to symbolic features like a compass set into the floor, encourage reflection, balance, and renewal. These features align the center with the Army’s Holistic Health and Fitness philosophy, supporting mental, spiritual, and physical readiness.

For the Oklahoma National Guard, the Wellness Center represents a central hub for health and resiliency resources, uniting critical programs and state-of-the-art amenities.
