Larson Design Group (LDG), an award-winning, employee-owned national architecture, engineering, and consulting firm, is pleased to announce the promotion of Steven Rushmore from BIM/CAD Program Manager to Director of Digital Practice, where he will direct LDG’s new Digital Practice – a strategic focus on automation, efficiency, and innovation in the firm’s design processes.
LDG’s Digital Practice serves as a critical connection between corporate service, IT (Innovation & Technology), and operations functions, intended to drive greater adoption and implementation of best practices across the entire organization. The overarching goal is to optimize the design process through technology, which enhances efficiency and collaboration while reducing costs and ensuring compliance to standards and regulations.
In his role, Steven will lead the charge on developing strategies, implementing new technologies, optimizing processes, and fostering innovation to enhance our design work, in addition to managing the day-to-day activities of his team.
“Steven’s unique blend of experience, deep subject matter expertise, and effective teaching will elevate our digital practice, enhancing the skills of our staff and adapting design workflows to leverage the rapidly evolving technological advances that are transforming our industry,” said LDG Chief Information Officer Scott Kantner.
