In keeping with its core value of Stewardship, Larson Design Group (LDG) held a “Souper Bowl” food drive throughout the week leading up to Super Bowl LVI, collecting canned goods and non-perishable items at all office locations.
A total of 2,878 items were collected, representing LDG’s 15 offices across seven states, and will be donated to food banks and pantries local to each office – including CrossNet Food Bank (Lititz, PA), The Lighthouse Foundation (Valencia, PA), Central Pennsylvania Food Bank (Williamsport), Second Harvest Food Bank of the Southern Tier (Elmira, NY), Harvest Food Bank of Central Florida (Orlando, FL), and The Society of St Vincent De Paul Food Pantry (Phoenix, AZ).
The drive was an initiative of LDG’s Employee Engagement Committee and was led by Zack Armstrong, a Project Manager on the Geomatics team.
Stewardship is one of our Core Values and we firmly believe in being community-minded, which is why we decided on locally-focused food drives for this action,” said Zack, who is based in LDG’s Williamsport office. “LDG is proud to support and enrich the places in which we work and live.
