Sign Visibility – Keeping Your Bridges Strong & Healthy No. 11

What’s wrong with this picture?

A warm and rainy early summer has resulted in a lot of additional vegetation growth along state and local roadways.  If you have bridges with required Bridge Load Postings or warning signs including hazard clearance markers or one-lane bridge signs, be sure to check that they are visible to motorists at all locations.

It’s the time of year when brush and vegetation is growing at a rapid pace and can quickly cover a regulatory sign.

Take a few minutes in the day to drive by, check the signs, and make sure that they are visible.
