Veteran Civil Engineer Rowe Joins Larson Design Group in Apalachin

Veteran civil engineer Steven Rowe has joined the Apalachin office of Larson Design Group, a nationally emerging architecture, engineering and survey firm with 10 offices in four states.

Rowe’s experience encompasses the design of land development, transportation, and civil works projects for municipal, commercial and educational clients. He also is knowledgeable about sustainable design and is experienced with LEED-rated green building projects.

Among the top projects on which he has worked include Maplewood Redevelopment, phase II of the Ithaca College Circle Apartments and Kendal at Ithaca expansion and enhancement. He also owns a retail business which gives him insights into the financial, human resource and sales issues which clients regularly face.

“Steve’s diverse experience strengthens our team’s design and technical problem-solving abilities for clients,” said Jason Bellis, PE, LDG’s Apalachin office leader. “His entrepreneurial instincts will help us better understand the totality of our clients’ daily challenges beyond pure engineering.”

Rowe holds a bachelor of science in civil engineering from Pennsylvania State University (2008) and is a licensed professional engineer in New York.
