Last July, VM+SD, a premier national journal serving the visual merchandising and store design industry, listed LDG as the 23rd largest retail design firm in the nation as ranked by design .

This is the not only the third consecutive year that LDG has appeared in BD & C’s lists, but also its third consecutive year of improved standings – the firm placed 30th in 2016 and 28th in 2017, proving that Larson continues to advance upward.

“Many things are coming together right now that are reflected by this increase in rankings,” said Robert Gehr, AIA, NCARB, Vice President of LDG’s Retail Design Division. “We’re keeping our focus on our quality service and we have a strong repeat customer base, but we’re also continuing to bring on new talent and expand into new areas. There’s a lot of energy from top to bottom in the retail division.”

With 10 offices in four states, LDG has designed thousands of retail stores across the country for national brands in the retail, restaurant and grocery market spaces.  This year alone, David Drouhard joined the firm to open a new office in Columbus, Ohio as director of retail design to lead LDG’s practice in the region, and David Balzer, director of retail design in Williamsport, was named to design:retail magazine’s  40 Under 40 list honoring the retail design industry’s top young professionals and up-and-coming future leaders.
