David Gunsallus II, PE

David’s background spans the full spectrum of transportation engineering, including project management, structural and roadway design, hydrologic and hydraulic analysis, permitting, scheduling, load rating, and extensive bridge and culvert design. David has also overseen QA/QC efforts for numerous bridge bundles, historic bridge rehabilitations, emergency replacements, trail and pedestrian structures, and major transportation improvement projects.

Since joining LDG more than 30 years ago, David has successfully delivered a variety of projects for state agencies, counties, municipalities, and private clients. In his leadership role, he applies his deep technical background and broad project experience to guide transportation engineering operations, ensuring high‑quality deliverables and efficient project execution across LDG’s Bridge Design, Bridge Inspection & Maintenance, Construction Inspection, and Highway Design services throughout New York, Pennsylvania, and West Virginia.

David received a Bachelor of Science in Structural Design and Construction Engineering Technology from the Pennsylvania State University. He is registered as both a Professional Engineer and a Certified Bridge Safety Inspector in Pennsylvania. He is based in LDG’s Williamsport, PA office.
