Larson Design Group (LDG) continues to see success with its Florida location, opened earlier this year, and as such continues to expand its temporary office space – even as plans are finalized for a permanent office in early 2022.
The office in Maitland, Florida – part of the greater Orlando area – represents the steady growth of the firm’s nationwide operations and the long-term plan to create a one-stop shop for clients to work with LDG along the entire East Coast. Florida and most of the southeastern U.S. has seen significant population growth in recent years, a trend that shows no signs of slowing, and growing a presence in the region offers the firm enormous opportunities in the industries of retail, infrastructure, housing, civic, hospitality and more.
The office currently has eight staff, with two additional employees starting at the end of July and numerous offers to fill current staffing needs. It’s expected that by the end of 2021, the office could see more than 200 percent growth.
“LDG entered the Florida market to serve existing clients as well as benefit from the rapid growth and development the state is experiencing, and our success in this new geography has exceeded all expectations,” said Dave Schaarsmith, Chief Operating Officer.
