LDG Expands to Central Florida, Hires Andrew Dorin as Director, Retail Design

Larson Design Group (LDG) is pleased to announce the hiring of Andrew Dorin, RA, as Retail Design leader in central Florida – another strong indicator of the firm’s forward momentum on its long-term strategic plan.

Andrew will be based in the Orlando area and will leverage his extensive experience to help LDG establish a footprint in the southeastern region of the country. In addition to operations and management responsibilities, he will focus on building relationships with new and existing clients alike and bringing in new employees to expand the existing group of team members in the region.

A native of upstate New York, Andrew received a Bachelor of Architecture from Temple University and an MBA from Georgian Court University. He is a Registered Architect in Pennsylvania and New Jersey, with registration for Florida currently in process. He also is certified by the National Council of Architectural Registration Boards (NCARB) and is an LEED Accredited Professional in Building Design + Construction (LEED AP BD+C).

The southeastern expansion is yet another milestone for LDG’s geographic growth and the goal of creating a one-stop shop for clients to work with LDG along the entire East Coast. Florida and most of the southeastern U.S. has seen significant population growth in recent years, a trend that shows no signs of slowing, and Andrew’s hiring and the focus on growing a presence in the region offers the firm enormous opportunities in the industries of retail, infrastructure, housing, civic, hospitality and more. In addition, as a compliment to the 2020 opening of the LDG Phoenix, AZ office, which serves West Coast clients, it further cements the foundation of a national footprint for the firm.

Founded in 1986, Larson Design Group is a national, award‐winning, 100 percent employee-owned architecture, engineering and consulting firm with 12 offices in five states and a vision to elevate client relationships, enrich the careers and lives of its employee-owners, and enhance the communities in which it operates.
