CORNING, N.Y. – Larson Design Group (LDG), an award-winning, employee-owned national architecture, engineering, and consulting firm, is excited to bring its long history of success in the Transportation sector to New York State with the hiring of Cristina Donahue, PE as Senior Engineer.
Cristina brings with her almost 20 years of experience in bridge and highway design throughout upstate New York. She has designed and managed a variety of bridge rehabilitation and replacement projects utilizing federal funding through a locally administered, federally funded program, as well as a variety of other funding types including local, FEMA Hazard Mitigation Funding, and Community Development Block Grants. She is well versed in programs and permitting requirements and is known for developing the best solutions to meet her project’s goals, balancing all the needs of the project.
“We are excited to have Cristina join LDG and combine her experience and knowledge of NYSDOT standards with our long-standing history of providing high quality transportation solutions to our clients,” said Joe Romano, LDG Vice President of Transportation. “This adds to the capabilities of our Corning branch office, which has been providing water, wastewater and site design solutions to local communities since it opened in 2005.”
Cristina received a Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering Technology from Pennsylvania College of Technology and is a licensed Professional Engineer in both New York and Pennsylvania. She is based in the firm’s Corning office.
