PITTSBURGH, PA – Larson Design Group (LDG) is pleased to announce that Wes Baker, PMP, has transitioned from his role as Director of the Planning & GIS team into the role of Vice President of Infrastructure.
Wes has been an invaluable member of LDG since joining in 2019 to establish, and ultimately lead, the firm’s Planning & GIS department. Since then, he has supported the growth of the team to over 14 personnel and significantly its expanded the capabilities and services, including into the highly competitive Federal market.
Wes has consistently demonstrated exceptional operations leadership, dedication, and a deep understanding of LDG’s business. In his role as VP, he will lean on this experience and knowledge to guide the overall performance of the Infrastructure group, overseeing and supporting teams within the water/wastewater, energy, geomatics, geotechnical, environmental, planning, reality capture and geospatial solutions practice areas to enhance project delivery, manage quality, and ensure client satisfaction.

Wes holds a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering from Villanova University and an M.B.A. from Webster University. He previously served his country as a U.S. Army officer and is a veteran of Operation Enduring Freedom and Operation Inherent Resolve. In addition, he is a graduate of LDG’s Legacy Leadership Development Program and was honored as the firm’s 2023 Employee Owner of the Year. He is based in LDG’s Pittsburgh office.
