Larson Design Group (LDG) is pleased to announce exciting changes to its Board of Directors. John DiMarco, who joined the LDG Board in 2017 and served as Vice Chair since August 2019, now will be leading the group as Board Chair.
“I have some big shoes to fill in this role, but I’m excited to take the next steps into the future,” John said. “Last year was a great year with transitioning to 100-percent ESOP, but more importantly, we had a seamless transition of leadership and set a great foundation for the way forward.”
John earned his Bachelor of Arts in accounting from Lycoming College and an MBA from Monmouth University. He retired as CEO and president from SOC, which provides security, logistics and life support services to the U.S. government. Prior to joining SOC, John held executive positions with Lockheed Martin and General Electric. In addition to his position on LDG’s Board, he is a member of the Board of Trustees of his alma mater, Lycoming College.
The Board also approved the appointment of Keith Kuzio as Vice Chair, Chief Information Officer Scott Kantner as a new internal member, and industry veteran Rajan Sheth as a new external board member. Keith served LDG as its President & CEO for a combined total of 20 years and recently transitioned into a Leadership Advisory role. Scott joined LDG in 2017 and brings more than three decades of insights in multiple information technology disciplines and software development to his role. Rajan, former CEO of Mead & Hunt, was appointed to the Board last month and brings a plethora of experience in the AEC industry.
“We are excited about the reorganization of our Board of Directors and believe the new directors will be significant assets,” said David Martin, President and CEO. “This refreshed Board and our leadership team are committed to achieving outstanding performance and maximizing value for our employee-owners.”
