Larson Design Group (LDG)’s Pittsburgh office is continuing along the path of consistent growth, earning a Fast 50 Award from the Pittsburgh Business Times for the third year in a row.
A new format this year presented the awards in revenue categories. LDG was the second fastest–growing company in the $10-$20 million revenue category and the ninth fastest–growing company in Pittsburgh overall – an increase of nine places from last year’s #18 spot, due to the company’s impressive 128% percentage growth between 2017 and 2019.
The annual Fast 50 celebrates the success of companies in the Pittsburgh area that have experienced rapid revenue growth over the previous two years. President and Chief Executive Officer David Martin accepted the award during a virtual reception on Sept. 29, saying that it was “very exciting, not just for the company but also for our people and the community.”
LDG entered the western Pennsylvania market in 2012 with offices in Beaver and Wexford and has grown rapidly, now ranking among the Business Times’ largest engineering firms in the region based on office billings. A third consecutive year of being named to the Fast 50 was due to several notable transportation, energy and federal government projects and the continued rapid expansion of staff.
