Through Accolades, LDG shares news of awards, rankings, and professional achievements that recognize our people, our hard work, and our exceptional client service.
Pittsburgh, PA – Larson Design Group (LDG), an award-winning, employee-owned national architecture, engineering, and consulting firm is proud to be featured in the November 2025 Architectural Portfolio issue of American School & University magazine (link to digital edition) for our work on Richison Family Stadium in Tuttle, Oklahoma. For 43 years, this special issue has celebrated the best in school and university design, highlighting projects that exemplify excellence in educational facilities.
LDG has been instrumental in enhancing Tuttle Public School’s athletic facilities through two significant projects: the new auxiliary gym and the Richison Family Stadium. We provided comprehensive architecture and engineering services for both projects, ensuring modern, functional, and inspiring spaces for student-athletes and the community.
“The Richison Family Stadium project reflects LDG’s commitment to creating spaces that inspire pride and community. It’s an honor to see this work recognized among the nation’s leading educational facilities. This recognition is a testament to the collaboration between the design team, Tuttle Public Schools, and the community—together, they delivered a facility that enhances both the student-athlete experience and the school’s long-term vision.” — Christian Ballard, Education Market Manager, Larson Design Group

The Richison Family Stadium features seating for 2,296 home spectators and 1,100 visitors, advanced lighting systems, and infrastructure to support high school football games and events. A 27,710-square-foot field house was added above the existing facility, allowing continued use during construction while providing locker rooms, training areas, and offices for coaches and staff.
The stadium also includes a 4,067-square-foot press box, strategically positioned to allow for future seating expansion, as well as new concrete and asphalt paving for easy access and parking. Around the stadium, 8,000 linear feet of decorative metal fencing enhances safety and security. Construction was completed while keeping the existing field in use for football games.
This recognition not only celebrates LDG’s dedication to innovative and functional design but also underscores the firm’s ongoing commitment to supporting communities through thoughtful educational and athletic facilities.
