Larson Design Group’s Retail Design Practice Has Landed in the Top 25 of Rankings

For the second time this year, Larson Design Group’s retail design practice has landed in the top 25 of rankings carried out by prestigious national trade publications. Building Design & Construction, a veteran magazine that has covered the architecture and engineering industry for more than 60 years, has ranked the firm 25th out of its Top 130 Retail Sector Architecture + AE Firms Report. Last July, VM+SD, a premier national journal serving the visual merchandising and store design industry, listed LDG as the 23rd largest retail design firm in the nation as ranked by design .

This is the not only the third consecutive year that LDG has appeared in BD & C’s lists, but also its third consecutive year of improved standings – the firm placed 30th in 2016 and 28th in 2017, proving that Larson continues to advance upward.

With 10 offices in four states, LDG has designed thousands of retail stores across the country for national brands in the retail, restaurant and grocery market spaces.  This year alone, David Drouhard joined the firm to open a new office in Columbus, Ohio as director of retail design to lead LDG’s practice in the region, and David Balzer, director of retail design in Williamsport, was named to design:retail magazine’s  40 Under 40 list honoring the retail design industry’s top young professionals and up-and-coming future leaders.
