Matthew Kalcich, a senior geographic information systems (GIS) analyst with the Williamsport office of Larson Design Group, will host the Mid Atlantic Users Group (MUG) at the Esri Users Conference on July 10, 2018 in San Diego. The meeting will focus on sharing group efforts promoting GIS throughout the Mid Atlantic, discussing the direction of the MUG and highlighting upcoming group events.
A global market leader in GIS, Esri develops the world’s most powerful mapping and spatial analytics software. The users group was formed to share information on GIS trends, Esri product development, regional GIS efforts, applications and educate users in the application of GIS. Through local meetings, an annual conference, newsletters and its website, Esri-MUG encourages its members to network, collaborate and work to improve the use, design and application of GIS technology throughout the Mid-Atlantic Region.
Kalcich and LDG’s Geospatial Services Group focus on helping clients develop, implement and maintain GIS databases through mobile applications which empower operators to make faster, more informed and better decisions in industries ranging from municipal, utility and higher education sectors to energy and transportation.
The meeting will start at 5:30 p.m. in the San Diego Conference Center, Room 24B.
