Cambridge Companies – Baltimore, MD

Larson Design Group (LDG) provided documentation and evaluation of the existing buildings for a residential recycling center and transfer station. Services included mechanical, electrical, plumbing, fire protection, and structural engineering. This documentation and evaluation included systems located in three separate areas of the Processing Center. The project area included the following areas: Single Stream Residential Recycling, Transfer Station, and the Loading Do/ck; a total area of 120,000 square feet.

Cambridge Companies – Jacksonville, FL

LDG provided mechanical, electrical, plumbing, structural, and fire protection engineering for a Material Recovery Facility (MRF). The facility is a pre-engineered steel building with a footprint of approximately 400’ by 170’ with two separate areas: recycle/tipping and processing. One end of the building has multiple stories containing offices, observation, locker, and toilet rooms. The facility has the capability to operate as single stream, dual stream, or a commercial single stream facility. The overall project design for included an elevator, scale house, scales, ramps, stairs, and a pre-engineered bridge structure to access the building. This project will be LEED Certified.

LDG provided mechanical, electrical, plumbing, and structural engineering design services for a new transfer station in Delaware with a footprint of approximately 100’ by 197’.
