Steve Lowden, PE
Project Manager - Geotechnical
I was drawn to LDG’s unique culture and the values that are apparent in how they conduct business every day. I am excited to assist in the organization’s continued growth in the region and as an emerging national firm.
More than 25 years of progressive engineering experience has made Steve an invaluable resource for LDG’s Geotechnical Department, where he works as a Project Engineer, taking on the responsibilities of both the technical aspects of a project and the day-to-day practice of project management.
Steve’s broad range of experience in geotechnical and civil engineering as well as management of team members and all facets of a project make him uniquely qualified to handle a client’s needs and wants from beginning to end. His design experience includes subsurface investigations, embankment and slope design, deep foundation design (drilled shaft and pile design), spread foundation design, stabilization and remediation of failed slopes, deep mine stabilization, rockfall fence design, retaining wall design (gravity wall, soldier-pile and lagging wall, tieback wall, MSE walls, soil nail walls), and reinforced earth slope design.
Steve received a Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering from Pennsylvania State University and is registered as a Professional Engineer in Pennsylvania, Ohio and West Virginia.
