The Village of Watkins Glen, N.Y. has selected Larson Design Group, a nationally emerging architecture, engineering and survey firm with offices in Corning and Apalachin, NY, to be its retained engineer for 2018.
The contract includes municipal engineering services and lasts for the duration of 2018. Retained engineers provide on-demand consulting expertise to help village employees manage their assets and infrastructure.
“We’re pleased to bring our value-added engineering services to the Village of Watkins Glen as we have for other municipal clients in the southern tier region,” said Greg Cummings, director of water/wastewater engineering with LDG.
With 19 years of diverse water and wastewater experience, Cummings has worked with scores of municipal clients in the Corning-Apalachin corridor and northcentral Pennsylvania. He focuses on new and improved facilities for inflow and infiltration issues including pumps, water mains, sewers, wells and effluent treatment. He also has carved a niche for helping municipal clients find sources of financing for their unfunded projects.
LDG has employees providing comprehensive, value-added engineering, architecture and survey services in 10 offices in four states.
