Larson Design Group (LDG) is delighted to announce that Dennis Toepperwein has joined its Williamsport headquarters as a Pipeline/Process Engineer in the Energy Division.
Mr. Toepperwein joins LDG from ENGlobal, where he served as a Project Manager/Engineer. Prior to that, he worked for Chevron Phillips as a Cavern/Pipeline Engineer. He has experience in performing hydraulic studies, resolving facility mass balance issues, overseeing maintenance for pipeline systems, coordinating gas compression fleet expansion, and implementation of Pipeline Safety Regulations.
Toepperwein explains that, “After relocating from my home state of Texas to be closer to my wife’s family in Pennsylvania, I was looking for a local firm with national reach that could utilize my abilities and whose values were in line with my own. I found that in LDG.”
Mr. Toepperwein’s approach to client service is similar to LDG’s. “More than just meeting regulatory requirements, I pride myself on talking with field operations personnel to create designs which meet the needs of the individual operator.”
Paul Lee, Senior Vice President and National Market Leader with LDG’s Energy Group, is “excited to have Dennis joining our Energy Division. Our oil and gas clients are requesting that we provide more full-service capabilities, and we are listening. Dennis brings an added dimension to our gas gathering, processing, and compression capabilities with his 35 years of hands-on construction and design experience in this area.”
With the recent hiring of Mark Mummert, PhD, PE, CIH, environmental health and safety expert, Mr. Toepperwein’s experience amplifies LDG’s capabilities as a midstream service provider. Mummert has experience in air permit applications, emission inventories, annual reports, and auditing compliance with state and federal regulations. He is an expert in industrial hygiene with a background in air sampling and noise monitoring.
Mr. Toepperwein and his wife live in the Williamsport area.
