Stevan Wilver, PE has been promoted to Vice President of Transportation for Larson Design Group, a nationally emerging architecture, engineering and survey firm with offices in four states.
Based in Williamsport, Wilver previously was director of bridge structures for LDG and has more than three decades of technical and management experience in development and design of transportation projects for the Pennsylvania Department of Transportation, other state agencies, counties and local municipalities. In his new role, he is responsible for leading a professional staff of about 90 technical professionals who provide bridge and highway design, bridge safety inspections, asset management, maintenance and construction inspection/management.
“Our search for a vice president of transportation was extensive and we looked at a host of external and internal candidates,” said David Martin, chief operating officer of the firm. “Based on his experience, expertise and leadership within the transportation group and the firm as a whole, Steve is the right choice to lead the group into the future as we expand our services and geographic reach.”
Wilver received his bachelor of science in civil engineering in 1986 from Pennsylvania State University. In addition to his leadership in the Transportation Division, he is a member of the board of trustees of LDG’s employee stock ownership plan (ESOP) and has served on LDG’s board of directors.
