Larson Design Group (LDG), a national architecture, engineering, and professional consulting firm, is pleased to welcome Eric Orndorff, MS, PLS, PSM, to the role of Director of Geomatics in our Orlando office.
An experienced professional with a successful management career in both private engineering consulting and the non-profit sector, Eric will draw on two decades of geomatics engineering work in this role with LDG to expand our service offerings in the southeast region and build relationships with new and existing clients across the country.
His experience includes day-to-day management and execution of survey, mapping and large-scale data acquisition programs for federal, state and local municipal governments, as well as private sector clients in the Energy, Water and Land Development markets; managing multiple field crews and office staff to meet deadlines and budget limits while overseeing quality preparation of project deliverables and leveraging geospatial technologies such as LiDAR and Unmanned Aerial Systems to gain efficiencies in survey, mapping and design workflows.

Eric holds a Bachelor of Science in Geography from Pennsylvania State University and a Master of Science in Surveying and Mapping from the University of Florida. Eric is a licensed surveyor in multiple states. He actively serves on the Board of Directors for The Mustard Seed of Central Florida and on the Troop Committee for Scout Troop 787, Winter Springs, FL.
