What was your first job and what did you learn from it that sticks with you?
Auntie Anne’s Soft Pretzels, when I was 16. I learned the importance of always counting the change back to the customer. We were scammed one night and my manager insisted I was wrong and had me give the customer the “right” change, the drawer was $20 short that night.
If you could travel to anywhere in the world, where would you go and what would you do there?
I would love to travel to Australia with my mom. She went with her parents when she was in her early 20s and had a lot of interesting stories from her time there.
What is your favorite food and who makes it best?
My mom’s homemade mac and cheese topped with toasted cheese and tomato slices. It was always my request for birthday dinners growing up.
What type of music do you like to listen to and what is your favorite song of that type?
My music tastes vary depending on my mood or what I’m working on, but one of my all-time favorite bands is A Day To Remember.
What is your favorite thing to do on the weekend?
I look forward to the weekends when I can spend time with my husband, Marc, since he travels during the week for work.
If you could be any superhero, who would you be and why?
I’ve never been that into superheroes, but if I had to pick one to be, I think I’d want to be Nightcrawler and be able to teleport.
What is the one thing you couldn’t live without?
My sister. She’s three years younger than me and she’s always had wisdom beyond her years and has always given me helpful advice. She’s always been one of my biggest supporters in whatever I’ve set out to do.
