As the employment market shifts to a competitive candidate driven market, Larson Design Group has tapped veteran recruiter Hannah Darkey to help fill key positions throughout the organization. LDG is an award-winning, nationally emerging engineering, architecture and survey firm with 10 offices in four states, including Pittsburgh, Wexford and Beaver.
Before joining LDG, Darkey was a client business partner for FranklinCovey, a global company specializing in performance improvement through change in human behavior. Clients she served ranged from marketing, sales and technology organizations to the sectors of leadership and education. Earlier, she was a recruiting, learning and development specialist with Amcom, a Xerox company.
“Hannah has a high-energy passion for finding and matching top talent to fit LDG’s needs as we continue to grow,” said Terry Krezmer, LDG board director and vice president of human resources. “She’s adept at using all the tools in today’s sophisticated toolbox to find great candidates. These range from marketing, networking and sourcing channels to professional organizations, career fairs and social media.”
Darkey is pursuing a master’s degree in human resource management at LaRoche College, with a concentration in recruiting and placement. She received her bachelor of science degree in business from Point Park University. In her spare time, she trains for the annual Pittsburgh Half Marathon and spends time with her husband and daughter.
