Larson Design Group (LDG)’s Infrastructure group is pleased to announce the expansion of both its capabilities and its team members by welcoming Ryan Klemish, Technical Specialist, and Wyatt Tompkins, Environmental Specialist. Ryan and Wyatt will be adding their considerable skills and experience to LDG’s existing environmental services, which will now include Air Quality Compliance and Leak Detection and Repair (LDAR).
With these new capabilities, LDG is “now able to offer additional services to our existing clients, as well as reach out to new clients that face increasingly complex air regulations within the Energy sector,” said Bryan Pauling, PE, Director of Energy. “In addition, we are now able to reach out to several other markets and industries in need of these services.”
Ryan has worked in the environmental industry for more than 15 years, with extensive experience in air quality compliance across a broad array of industries, including oil and gas. He is a certified FLIR Optical Gas Imaging thermographer with more than 10 years of working in LDAR, and he is skilled in various regulations at both the federal and state levels in Pennsylvania. His prior experience includes asbestos/demolition, erosion and sedimentation, water quality, waste, air emissions inventories, stack testing and compliance reporting.
Wyatt has spent five years in the environmental industry and brings 15 years of operational experience in the oil and natural gas industry. He has a broad catalogue of experience in leak detection and repair programs and Method 21 and is a certified FLIR Optical Gas Imaging thermographer with over five years of experience in LDAR. His prior work includes Tier II reporting, erosion and sediment inspections, oil and gas pipeline and refinery operation.
This is the second time Ryan and Wyatt will be working together; previously, the two joined forces at Southwestern Energy, where they handled many of the same air-quality-related responsibilities they will take on at LDG. Wyatt noted that he believes they “work quite well as a team” and that they both welcome the opportunity to once again serve clients together at LDG.
“Air Quality Compliance is a service that we have wanted to add to the Energy team for a long time, but we weren’t able to find the right fit in terms of team members to add the service,” Bryan said. “The opportunity to add Ryan and Wyatt, especially as a team with prior experience, seemed like the perfect fit and we are very excited to bring them on board.”
