In April 2011, LDG hosted a Compressed Natural Gas (CNG) Education Day at our headquarters office in Williamsport, PA to focus community stakeholders on the development of CNG fueling stations, fleet conversions, and infrastructure across central and northern tier Pennsylvania. Natural gas exploration in North Central Pennsylvania has brought about challenges and opportunities. Many consider water resource management the most important challenge. TARM (TerrAqua Resource Management) is a partnership of architecture, engineering, and surveying firm Larson Design Group (LDG) based in Williamsport, PA and Newalta, a Calgary, Alberta, Canada based company that specializes in the recycling and recovery of products from industrial waste.
Newalta’s experience in facility operations serving the oil and gas industry spans two decades and the company is a leader in the North American oil and gas sector providing onsite services. LDG has worked extensively providing services for gas exploration and production firms including planning and permitting, surveying and environmental studies along with architectural design and engineering for support infrastructure.
The combined experience and capabilities of LDG and Newalta give TARM the ability to offer customers a complete design, build and operate solution to their water resource management needs. We are committed to using the best technology to translate ideas into projects including the ability to print 3D objects in-house. These printed objects can be as basic as a box, or as complex as a detailed wastewater treatment plant. The technology is known as rapid prototyping. It is a unique form of printing that creates these objects by layering and connecting successive cross sections of material. It has been proven that by introducing visualization into the design process, the potential for improving design efficiency and quality increases.
