T-347 Over North Branch Buffalo Creek

This rehabilitation project included replacing the deteriorated concrete beam seats under the steel girders and cleaning and painting the entire superstructure to extend its useful service life. The deteriorated beam seats were recommended for repair during the routine bridge inspection while the cleaning and painting of the structure was identified previously as a preventive maintenance need. LDG provided professional engineering services from design through construction inspection.

LDG utilized its web based bid plans site to advertise and bid the project and provided as needed construction observation and administration during the rehabilitation project.

The project was constructed utilizing Union County’s Liquid Fuels Funding.
