Streetscape Improvements in Williamsport, PA

The project involved various streetscape improvements in Williamsport, PA (street lighting, sidewalk, and landscaping) along SR 2070 Via Bella between Hepburn and William Streets, William and Court Streets, Court and Mulberry Streets, and Mulberry and Basin Streets. In addition, the project included street lighting on Church Street. It involved minor grading and minor drainage repairs along the proposed sidewalk. The project had numerous ties to the Market Street Bridge project, and it put the finishing touches on several areas to complement the bridge project. Larson Design Group’s (LDG) design team worked closely with the PennDOT bridge construction inspection staff to coordinate how to handle the many areas where the projects meshed.

LDG’s team selected a mixture of evergreen, deciduous, and herbaceous plant species to add year-round greenery within the roundabouts at William, Court, and Mulberry Streets.

The project consisted of improvements to sidewalks and curbing, landscaping, street lighting, and other miscellaneous roadway-related items.
