Larson Design Group (LDG) provided design services for a 54.0′ long pre-stressed concrete spread box beam bridge and a 72.0′ long prestressed concrete spread box beam bridge, both on integral abutments, with 36′ curb-to-curb roadways to replace two structurally deficient bridges. The new structures wer adequately sized to convey the 25-year design storm. The new stuctures were constructed on a similar horizontal and improved vertical alignments and provide wider and safer crossings over Dodge Hollow Run and the Cowanesque River.

LDG combined the two structures into one plan set of project drawings that was let as one project. Coordination between PennDOT and LDG was critical to ensure a complete and accurate bid package.

LDG performed complete design and construction consultation services, including structure, supplemental survey and roadway design, as well as shop drawing review.
