Riverfront Park

Larson Design Group (LDG) designed a new split-face concrete masonry restroom/pavilion approximately 30’-0” wide x 61’-0” long. Designed with Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) standards accessible restrooms and storage at one end of the building, opposite end is open for picnic tables.

The project site is in the floodway. The building was elevated slightly to minimize excavation and to help keep it dryer. It was structurally designed to withstand the velocity of the 100-year flood.

LDG also provided the site design which included a 28-car parking lot with two accessible parking spaces and an accessible route to the pavilion. There is also a 10’-0” wide walking trail that winds throughout the site.
