Intersection of SR405 and SR118

Larson Design Group (LDG) performed Preliminary Engineering, Right-of-Way, and Final Design for this project in Borough of Hughesville, Lycoming County, Pennsylvania: Intersection of SR405 and SR118.

This project consisted of improved curb radii for a WB-67 truck movement through the SR118 and SR405 intersection. The existing signal was replaced and upgraded. Pedestrian crosswalks and sidewalks were also replaced and upgraded to ADA compliance.

A clock was moved and an unsafe parking lot, that required vehicles to back out into SR118 traffic, was eliminated. Also in order for this project to be completed an abandoned library building was removed by the Borough through a demolition contract developed by LDG which addressed compaction for the roadway widening subgrade.

The project was completed on schedule and within budget.
